This is how summer days should always be: filled with music and festival vibes. The Summer Night’s Dream, one of Munich’s top events, offered all this and more.

24,000 attendees enjoyed a summery atmosphere that can only be experienced in the Olympic Park—with fabulous concert moments and, as the magical highlight of the evening, the spectacular fireworks display “TETRA – The Shape of Energy.” Here, traditional pyrotechnics and 150 state-of-the-art LED drones merged into a breathtaking audiovisual masterpiece above the Olympic Lake.

Line-up complete: SEDA opens on the main stage, club icons on the peninsula

The music line-up for the Midsummer Night’s Dream on 18 July at the Olympic Park has been finalised: alongside the previously confirmed top acts, such as main stage headliners Madcon and Zoe Wees, as well as Caribou and Cosmica Bandida on the peninsula, the line-up is now complete. The exceptionally talented SEDA will open the main stage, whilst Munich club legends Benjamin Röder and “Der Brane” will headline the afternoon programme on the peninsula, before the traditional fireworks light up the sky late in the evening.

Madcon as the headliner on the Main Stage

The 2026 Sommernachtstraum is set to welcome an international feel-good act to the main stage: Madcon will headline at Munich’s Olympiapark on July 18, 2026. The Norwegian duo, known for hits like “Beggin’,” “Glow,” and “Don’t Worry,” will bring rap, pop, soul, and dance energy to Munich’s major festival. At the same time, the lineup for the Peninsula Stage is expanding: Caribou and Cosmica Bandida will deliver live electronic sets, a clubbing atmosphere, and danceable open-air vibes.

First star announced for Sommernachtstraum 2026: Zoe Wees will perform at Munich's Olympic Park.

When music, summer vibes, and a spectacular fireworks display come together at the Olympic Lake on July 18, it’s time for the Sommernachtstraum in Munich once again. Hamburg-based artist Zoe Wees has now been confirmed as the first major act for this open-air highlight in the Olympic Park. Wees is one of the most successful German pop singers of her generation on the international stage. For over two decades, the Sommernachtstraum has combined live music, festival vibes, and one of Germany’s most impressive pyrotechnic shows into an experience for all the senses.
