Music. Festival vibes. Fireworks display – The Sommernachtsraum is the highlight of the Munich summer, transforming the Olympic Park into a magical oasis every year.
At Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz and on the peninsula, live music, street food and a summery atmosphere come together for the magical highlight of the evening: the spectacular pyrotechnic display over the Olympic Lake, choreographed precisely to the music.
A fireworks show of emotions
As soon as the sun goes down, the sky above the Olympic Park takes centre stage once again: the emotional finale and highlight of the Sommernachtstraum is the grand fireworks show over the Olympic Lake, precisely choreographed to rousing music and visible throughout the park.
Thousands of visitors gather along the shore in the evening, as this fireworks display is one of the largest and most impressive in the whole of Germany. Every sequence of explosions is precisely synchronised with the soundtrack, immersing the Olympic Park in a breathtaking sea of light and sound.
The sound of summer
What makes the Sommernachtstraum so special? It’s a festival for all generations, where pop music meets electronic sounds. On 18 July 2026, the Olympic Park will once again be transformed into a stage for unforgettable live moments and an open-air experience for all the senses.
Get ready for goosebumps, big emotions and a rousing atmosphere on the Main Stage with Zoe Wees and Madcon. Those who prefer to celebrate rhythmic beats and psychedelic sounds will experience laid-back summer vibes on the Halbinsel Stage with Caribou and Cosmica Bandida.
