Line-up complete: SEDA opens on the main stage, club icons on the peninsula

The music line-up for the Midsummer Night’s Dream on 18 July at the Olympic Park has been finalised: alongside the previously confirmed top acts, such as main stage headliners Madcon and Zoe Wees, as well as Caribou and Cosmica Bandida on the peninsula, the line-up is now complete. The exceptionally talented SEDA will open the main stage, whilst Munich club legends Benjamin Röder and “Der Brane” will headline the afternoon programme on the peninsula, before the traditional fireworks light up the sky late in the evening.

With the final confirmations, the musical line-up for this year’s Midsummer Night’s Dream is now complete. When the gates of the Olympic Park open at 15:30 pm on the day of the event, visitors can look forward to a dramatically rich open-air experience from 16:00 pm onwards, spanning the spectrum from intimate indie moments to driving electronic club beats. The grand finale at 22:10 pm will be the traditional high-end fireworks display, which blends music and pyrotechnics into an emotional total work of art above the Olympic Lake.

Main Stage: SEDA brings emotional indie pop with a vintage feel

SEDA will kick things off on the Main Stage at 5 pm. With her characteristically deep voice, SEDA sings in an accessible and clever way about topics such as queerness, mental health and identity. SEDA describes their own music as “indie pop with a vintage feel, lots of guitar sound, 80s synths and melancholy”. After studying at the renowned Berklee College of Music, SEDA made their breakthrough with the award-winning debut album “somewhere in between” (2022). SEDA has already demonstrated a strong stage presence at Lollapalooza, PULS and the Reeperbahn Festival. Whilst DIFFUS magazine hails SEDA as a “rising star in the indie firmament”, the Süddeutsche Zeitung praises her “moving, deep soul voice”.

Halbinsel Stage: Electronic music culture with Benjamin Röder and Der Brane

At the same time, from 16:00 pm, the Halbinsel Stage will be transformed into a vibrant open-air club. Two of the most influential figures in Munich’s nightlife scene have been secured for the joint opening set. Der Brane, Branimir Peco, is co-founder and managing director of the internationally renowned Blitz Club. For over 25 years, as a DJ, curator and organiser of pioneering projects such as Charlie, Kong, Die Registratur and DerKongress, he has played a key role in shaping the cultural identity of Munich’s nightlife scene. Benjamin Röder, DJ and club visionary (co-founder of Bar CHARLIE, Kong, HYTOP), skilfully bridges the gap between nightlife and sound culture. He views parties as emotional spatial installations and fearlessly fuses disco, dub, techno and soul in his risk-taking sets.

Festival atmosphere meets fireworks

The Midsummer Night’s Dream has been one of the highlights of Munich’s events calendar for years. At Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Square and on the peninsula, visitors can once again look forward to a diverse open-air programme in 2026. Add to that street food, a summery atmosphere and numerous vantage points for the magical highlight of the evening: the grand pyrotechnic display over the Olympic Lake, precisely choreographed to the music, which transforms the night sky into a colourful sea of lights.
